Claude helped me build this page.

My friends and I started an athleisure brand, with a lot less "ath" and a lot more "leisure".
I'm running all things design for this brand. I'm a big fan of sportswear and athleisure, so it's been really great to revisit my traditional print roots while learning more about the end to end process for creating apparel at scale.

A doodle gone viral, I accidentally became the designer behind Boston Celtic Jaylen Brown's Twitter (X) profile photo.
It started with a sketch during the NBA bubble games, and ended with my work being featured on every news platform that covered the NBA from 2020 to around 2024. My original sketch was inspired by Jaylen Brown's jersey, when the NBA and NBPA had approved social justice messages for players to wear on their jerseys in place of their last names, aiming to support racial equality and social justice movements.

I'm teaching myself how to read and understand design system architecture by making my own using Claude and Cursor.
I can't (and probably shouldn't) be writing code myself, but I do know my way around CSS. I've been using AI to walk me through building this out page by page, so I can actually understand how a design system is structured under the hood. I've been using Figma to handle the design library side in tandem.
And like plants in a greenhouse, this system will grow and mature as I continue to tend to it.
