General Motors' OVOC Platform is a modern information and data architecture solution which creates customer-centric event data to deliver personalized, timely, compelling and frictionless customer experiences. To further the OVOC initiative, GM and IBM co-created and prioritized a backlog of use cases which align with their workstream goals and generate value for the business.

After the IBM team had worked with the client to prioritize use cases for digital experiences around GM’s app connected vehicles I was brought on to the team to bring them to life with user journeys, and concept screens.

Telling a Story with Data

GM's vehicles collect and use a lot of data, and with OVOC the goal was to explore user experience enhancements as well business opportunities for the organization. Not only was it important to show what the data is and how it's being used, but also contextualizing it through the eyes of the end users.
